Here we go! I'm new to the whole blogging world, so I don't know much yet. What I do know is...
I'm looking forward to this!
First, a little about me...
I am a teacher.
I am a coach.
I am constantly working on me.
I am working on being fit.
I LOVE food. (sometimes a little too much)
I love to read.
My family consists of a fur baby and an often furry man.
Coffee keeps me sane.
I am a little too obsessed with clothes. (I blame being a private school girl all my life)
Finally, I am here to share my journey with you. My journey to become more healthy, more fit, and more "adult"!
Welcome! Stop by again soon :)
Hi there, this is "Uberwheels". The recipe sounds great. Did you know that coconut oil is also great for a hangover (I guess a tablespoon oughta do). What is the difference between coconut oil and coconut juice/water? What brand do you use and where best to purchase? I, too, love to eat; but do not watch the Super Bowl (no TV!). look forward to YouTube the commercials!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Uberwheels! Coconut Oil is great for just about everything, including hangovers! Coconut Oil is a solid, but melts easily, I usually use what's left in the spoon as a hand lotion :) Best place to purchase is probably Trader Joe's, but mine is Spectrum brand from Target.
ReplyDeletehi there...back to your fitness post; Yoga. Wondering about using/developing a yoga routine and synching this to bicycling. Being a passionate biker dude, I rack up lots of miles hunched over the frame. I have the easy (spinning at low cadence) and hard (cranking up hills) parts and the breathing all down to a science. Any tips on how to weave the use of yoga into my routines? How do I start? Where do I start?
ReplyDeleteI am thinking a simple Sun Salutation would be a great place to start. Very gentle, but will stretch your body back out after miles spent hunched over your bicycle. The Sun Salutation is best done first thing in the morning. Perhaps tomorrow I will share my Sun Salutation in my Tips and Tricks post!
